Grant Wishes at the Takbo.ph Runfest 2015
Make-A-Wish ® Foundation Philippines benefits from Takbo.ph Runfest through optional participant fundraising. (Note that Make-A-Wish does not benefit from registration fees).
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
When you support Make-A-Wish, you share in the power of a wish-come-true.
Here are 5 ways to help grant wishes.
1. TOP UP your registration fee. Simply add 50 Pesos when you register for the 21K, 10K and 5K race categories in the Takbo.ph Runfest. This small amount from your heart will go a long way!
2. WALK-FOR-WISHES. Register for 500 Pesos and be one of 500 donors who will walk 500 meters with our wish-kids! Because this is a post-race event, you can still join even if you have signed up for the 21K, 10K or 5K categories. Just be at the starting line by 7:00 AM. All proceeds of the Walk-for-Wishes event goes to Make-A-Wish ® Foundation Philippines.
3. DONATE CASH AT THE MAKE-A-WISH BOOTH. During the Takbo.ph Runfest 2015, you can drop pledges and donations at specially-marked donation boxes.
4. MAKE A DONATION ONLINE. Visit www.makeawish.org.ph for more details about (one-time or monthly) credit card donations and bank deposits.
5. ADOPT-A-WISH. Slippers, dolls, toy cars, or clothing: these are but some our kids’ simple wishes. You can even grant wishes as a group! Here’s a list of upcoming wishes.
